I managed to shut up Windows Defender and Norton AV after a series of annoying fuck-ups, allowing me to install Flash and Fireworks.

So no.

I'm not getting Linux yet, folks.

I'm currently having some issues setting up my new computer. Amongst other things, Vista has so far refused to install Flash and Fireworks, and it had some trouble recognizing my joystick, though I managed to get that sorted out. I was expecting problems, though not with the installation process, but I guess I'll just have to work my way around that. The security measures are a huge pain in the ass, I don't need a fucking babysitter OS, but something functionable.

On a related notice, I use the screenname Sinitronic on this computer, and Sinjitzer on my laptop; just giving a heads up in case anyone has something important to say, although I hope you keep in mind that I may be away from my computer despite appearing as online and available.

Now I'm getting a fat bonus which I'm going to waste on a brand-new desktop computer and accessories. I've already bought a neat 22 inch widescreen monitor to go along with my tablet (THANK YOU, TOM), and I've cleaned up the mess that was one of the desks in my room. Now all I have to do is wait for my musical friend to come back from vacation so I can start working more intensively on a lil' something I've been planning out and developing for literally years now.
