This was a flawed creation, through and through, due to both a lack of creative ingenuity and crude handiwork. Aside from your use of masks, your entire submission seemed to lack any form of knowledge regarding the slightly more advanced utilization of the Flash toolset, and both drawings as well as your actual animation was incredibly sub-par... Considering how you more or less used the exact same movie clip looping over and over throughout the entire feature, this was highly annoying, and combined with a mostly bland or even bad choice in color usage your entire production was nothing short of visually unappealing. Yet, the most intrepid thing you did was base your entire submission around two old, obsolete, and obnoxious fads, cementing this feature's position in the lower end of the wall.

I must disappoint you with the APPROPRIATE rating of one star out of a possible ten, given for the above reasoning.

Im using Flash MX 2004. A lot of the effects you're looking for either haven't been introduced yet or haven't been introduced in a watered-down lazy man's kind of way yet. Notes on using the same movie clip the entire duration of the toon? Easy. Have you ever seen the original Caramelldansen video? that's what it is: The same loop for over 90% of the video, the difference being is that their clip is 3D. The colors used in that video are much much much more obnoxious than in this one.

The sub par artwork? I agree. I was in no way trying to create some kind of sophist-a-ma-cated art. This video was created for comedy, not to show off. I chose to tablet-draw because I figured that it would give overly serious people the hint that this is not to be taken seriously.

I suggest you know what you're talking about before you throw random insults.
